Providing professional, compassionate nursing care and client education

Jessica, CVT -- Practice Manager & Lead Technician

Jessica has been with PPVC since 2008 and specializes in dental care for our patients.  She earned her Associate of  Applied Science degree from Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, CO, and has been a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) for five years.  While she is skilled in all aspects of pet nursing care, she is excited by the opportunity to deepen her expertise in a single area.  Jessica and her husband Bobby share their home with a boxer, Sasha, two cats, Charlie and Chuck and Tommy the Turtle.

Jamie, CVT

Jamie was born and raised in New Jersey, and lived there for nineteen years before moving to Colorado for a nice change. Having always loved animals, Jamie knew that she wanted a career working with them, so she attended Pima Medical Institute in Colorado Springs, where she received her Veterinary Assistant degree and then her Veterinary Technician degree. She is married to an amazing guy Brendan, and they currently have two dogs and two cats.

Amber, CVT

Amber is one of our newest team members; she recently relocated to Colorado Springs from Tennessee.  Watch for her bio coming soon!

Raymond

Raymond was born and raised in Colorado Springs.  He received his Certificate in Veterinary Assisting from Pima Medical Institute in 2007 and completed his Associate of Applied Science degree in Zoo Keeping Technology from Pikes Peak Community College in 2011.  He has a special interest in zoo and exotic animal medicine, and his long-term goal is to go back to school to become a certified veterinary technician and one day work in a zoo.  He has an American bulldog named Deuce, three turtles, a rat and an assortment of freshwater fish.

Heather

Heather grew up in a family that took care of every kind of animal imaginable - her earliest memories include helping nurse injured skunks, hawks and owls, and raising orphaned raccoons, rabbits, etc.  She traveled to Colorado Springs during summer vacations to visit her grandmother's goat farm and eventually lived there for many years.  Heather found a veterinary technician school that furthered her knowledge of animals and began work at Pikes Peak Veterinary Clinic but then took several years off to stay at home with her daughter.  Now she lives in Black Forest with her husband, daughter and a small assortment of animals.  She's very happy to be back at PPVC and to see all of the old and new clients with their pets!

Tonya

Tonya recently completed her Certificate in Veterinary Assisting from Pima Medical Institute...bio pending!
